Children’s Ministry
Central Kids Summer Ministry is designed for the children of our church, their friends and our Day School families from the completion of 1st through Fifth Grade (this past school year). Younger children are welcome if accompanied by a parent.
Our purpose is to provide a variety of summer activities to help children grow in their faith and love of God. We want each child to realize that they are precious to Jesus Christ and His church.

2026 Summer Adventures
Here’s what’s in store:
Tuesday, June 23:
Dorothea Dix Park - $12
We’re going on a Troll Hunt! Join us as we venture to Raleigh to experience Dorothea Dix Park, the largest adventure playground in the Southeast and home to 5 giant trolls! We will have a day of fun and adventure. Bring clothes that can get wet, a change of clothes, and a towel.
Tuesday, July 7 :
Sunset Theater & Strike Hours - $12
Best Day Ever! We will be going to Sunset Theater to see The MineCraft Movie. Then we will head over to Strike House to bowl and play miniature golf.
Saturday, July 25:
Vacation Bible School - FREE
Bring a Friend!
Join us for VBS! We are launching to another GALAXY to learn the Mission of God’s Love. We will learn how God loves us, so…love each other! Arrive around 8:45 and pickup at 2:30.
Tuesday, August 4:
Greensboro Science Center - $22
Let’s head to Greensboro to the Science Center where we will enjoy a day at the Zoo and Aquarium. There is also a Rainforest Adventure that sounds like a ton of Fun. We will make a quick drive to High Point for a special surprise.

In the event of inclement weather, we will go to a movie and the Strike House. Please bring a bag lunch (except VBS).
