LoriAnn Owen
Contemporary Worship /
Youth Ministry Assistant
At four years old, LoriAnn sang her first solo in church. From that moment on, her love of worship through song has blossomed into an essential part of who she is. Growing up, she sought out every talent show, competition, and pageant available to her, honing performance skills and becoming comfortable on stage.
God utilized those skills as she ministered through ‘special’ music at church, as well as wedding and funeral solos. LoriAnn studied education at Pfeiffer University, worked as a classroom teacher in Asheboro City Schools, and a director at Pfeiffer University and Randolph Community College. She married potter, Ben Owen III, in 1998 at Central Church.
The Owens live in the Seagrove area of Moore County and share three children. LoriAnn owns and operates Etched Earth Designs, LLC part-time. As her children began to leave home, she felt a calling back to more church ministry and her first love of worship. She invites everyone to come worship Jesus with Central Praise on Sundays at 9:30 am.
